Dodge Ram For Sale

Explore Dodge Rams for sale at Pedal to the Metal. Dodge’s full-size pickup took the Ram name for 1981, with Power Ram badging on four-wheel-drive versions, and the Cummins 5.9 turbo diesel arrived for 1989. The 1994–2002 second generation brought the Magnum V8s, an 8.0 V10 and Club Cab and Quad Cab bodies, in 1500, 2500 and 3500 versions. The third generation added the 5.7 Hemi, the Mega Cab and, for 2004–2006, the SRT-10 with the Viper’s 8.3-litre V10 and 500 bhp. Ram became a separate brand from 2010, and we also offer later Ram pickups from time to time.

If your ideal Dodge isn’t in our current inventory, we can help you find it. PTTM sources high-quality classic and collector cars, with worldwide delivery available.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Choose by era, cab and drivetrain. The 1981–1993 trucks offer regular cabs, crew cabs until 1985 and the Club Cab, with 6.5 ft and 8 ft beds; the Cummins diesel arrived for 1989. The 1994–2002 trucks added the V10, the Club Cab from 1995 and the four-door Quad Cab from 1998, and won Motor Trend Truck of the Year for 1994.

The third generation, from 2002 for the 1500, brought the Hemi in 2003, the SRT-10 and the Mega Cab for 2006. The fourth generation followed for 2009, before the Ram name became a brand of its own.

It depends on how you will use the truck. Petrol V8s, from the 318 and 360 to the 5.2 and 5.9 Magnum and the 5.7 Hemi of 2003, suit general use. The Cummins diesels, from the 5.9 of 1989 in 12-valve and later 24-valve form to the 6.7 of 2007, suit towing and long distances. The 8.0 V10 offered big-block torque from 1994. The SRT-10 is different again: a rear-wheel-drive road truck with the Viper’s 8.3 V10, a six-speed manual in the regular cab and an automatic in the Quad Cab.

Start with identity and use. Check that the VIN, engine, cab and drivetrain match the paperwork, and that SRT-10 and special-edition claims, such as VCA, Yellow Fever, Commemorative or Night Runner, are supported by the VIN and documentation. Service records show how a truck has been maintained and whether it has towed or worked hard. Then inspect the frame, cab, bed and underside for rust and previous repairs, and note any changes to the engine, suspension or wheels.

On restomod and pro-touring cars, judge the quality of the components and workmanship. PTTM can share the information available on a car and discuss any further inspection.

Generation, engine, cab and condition set the starting point. An SRT-10, particularly a special edition or a manual regular cab, sits in a very different market from a high-mileage work truck, and documented early Cummins trucks attract their own following. Within any specification, value reflects originality, mileage, documentation and condition, factory options and colour, and, on an SRT-10, details such as the original tonneau cover.

Unrestored survivors, restored cars and professionally built restomods are each valued on different terms. Compare the whole truck and its records alongside the price, and PTTM can help you define a realistic search.

Registration or title documents with a VIN matching the truck are the foundation. Original paperwork such as the window sticker, dealer invoice and owner’s manuals adds weight where it survives, and on a Ram SRT-10 it helps confirm the cab, transmission and any special edition. Service records show how the truck has been maintained, and restoration invoices and photographs show any work done since. Imported vehicles should carry their import papers, and PTTM’s Registration Service can guide European registration.

Yes, PTTM can assess your current car and discuss a trade-in towards a Dodge purchase. Send us its make, model, year, mileage, photographs and available history, along with details of the car you are interested in. Trade-ins are not automatic: each proposal is considered individually, based on condition, documentation and market demand.

Possible structures include equal-value exchanges and trades with a cash adjustment on either side, agreed transparently in advance.

The Ram spans durable work trucks and a record-setting performance pickup. The SRT-10 was built for only three model years, with 10,046 made: 3,057 for 2004, 5,113 for 2005 and 1,973 for 2006. In July 2004 an SRT-10 set a Guinness record for the fastest production truck at 154.587 mph. Its editions are rarer still, including 52 VCA trucks, 497 Yellow Fever and 370 Night Runner. Individual trucks stand out through originality, documentation, rare options and condition, and a well-sorted driver can be as rewarding as a concours restoration.

It depends on how you plan to use the truck. A regular cab is the lightest and simplest, while Quad Cab and Mega Cab trucks carry more passengers. Four-wheel drive suits rough ground, and the Cummins diesels suit towing. The SRT-10 is a rear-wheel-drive road truck on 22-inch wheels, and the Quad Cab version is rated to tow 7,500 lb. An original or factory-correct restored Ram suits buyers who value authenticity. A restomod adds modern components and comfort. PTTM offers both, from factory-correct restorations to custom restomod and pro-touring builds. Tell your sales advisor how and how often you plan to drive.

Yes. Our Personalized Car Search service can look beyond our current inventory. Tell us your preferred generation and cab, engine and drivetrain, whether original or modified, and colour, condition and budget.

We identify suitable trucks and help assess their condition, history and authenticity. SRT-10 special editions, manual regular-cab SRT-10s, early Cummins trucks and low-mileage originals can take longer to find, and we will give you an honest expectation of timing. Search terms are agreed before we begin, and you are never obliged to proceed with a vehicle we present.

Yes. PTTM works with buyers across Europe and overseas and can coordinate transport to your country. Within Europe, cars travel by road with our own trailers or trusted partners. Intercontinental deliveries normally go by sea freight, and air freight is available on request. We confirm the transport method, insurance, costs and estimated timing for your destination before you commit. Import requirements vary by country, so share your destination when enquiring and we can explain the options.
