How Trade-In Works
We evaluate trade-in opportunities based on key factors such as make and model, condition, documentation, history and current market context. This allows us to provide a realistic valuation and determine whether an exchange is feasible.
Trade-ins are not treated as automatic transactions. We assess the suitability of the car within our inventory and sales strategy before proceeding.

Yes. If you own a classic car and want to put it toward the purchase of something from our inventory, a custom build, or a restoration project, we can assess your car and discuss a trade-in as part of the overall transaction. This is often the most efficient way to move from one car to the next without the complexity and delay of selling privately first.
We assess value based on the car’s model, year, engine specification, condition, documentation quality, and current market data from recent comparable sales at auction and through specialist dealer channels. We have been tracking this market for over 20 years across European, American, and Middle Eastern buyer pools, and our valuations reflect what the car can realistically achieve in the current market – not an optimistic figure that leaves it sitting unsold, and not an undervaluation that shortchanges you.
For an accurate valuation, we need to see the car in person or receive detailed photographs and documentation. If bringing the car to our facility in Sneek is not practical, send us high-quality images of the exterior from all angles, the interior, the engine bay, and underneath the car, along with any documentation and history you have. We will come back to you with an initial assessment and discuss whether an in-person inspection makes sense as a next step.
Yes. A trade-in does not have to be applied against a car purchase. If you want to commission a restoration or a custom build at our facility and would like to offset the cost with a car you currently own, we can discuss that arrangement. Our primary focus is classic American muscle cars, and these are the cars we are best positioned to assess and trade against. If you have a different type of collector car you want to discuss, contact us and we will let you know honestly whether it is something we can work with.
