1923 Ford T-Bucket Hot Rod

1923 Ford T-Bucket Hot Rod -- 350ci Chevrolet V8, 4-Speed, Full Custom Build, Belgian Registration
This is not a car you stumble across every day. It is not a car you forget either.

The T-Bucket is the original American hot rod. A Model T body, stripped to almost nothing, dropped onto a custom chassis, and fitted with whatever engine the builder felt like using. No rules, no blueprint, no compromise. This particular example has been built with that same philosophy taken to its logical conclusion -- nearly every component has been modified or replaced, and the personality of whoever built it is stamped into every detail.

The build
The body is fibreglass and wood, finished in matte black. A shark mouth runs the length of both flanks. The grille shell is painted red, the steel wheels are red, the whitewall tyres are period-correct. The stance is aggressive -- narrow at the front, wide and planted at the rear. A chrome duck surveys the road from the front. Betty Boop keeps watch at the back. The Plexiglas windscreen is covered in stickers from what appears to have been a well-travelled life. None of this is accidental. Someone built this car with a very clear vision and saw it through to the end.

The engine
A 350 cubic inch Chevrolet V8, period-correct to the 1950s and 1960s, sits exposed between the front rails exactly where it should be. Edelbrock valve covers, a Mooneyes air cleaner, polished stainless steel headers running out alongside the body. An aluminium radiator. A fuel cell in place of a conventional tank. Everything has been chosen deliberately.

On the subject of performance -- this car is fast. Genuinely, properly fast. The T-Bucket body weighs almost nothing, and the 350ci does not hold back. The power-to-weight ratio demands respect and a steady hand. This is not a car to be underestimated.

The cockpit
Black leather tub with pearl trim. Woven blanket fabric on the seats. A full set of aftermarket gauges on a blackened wood dash panel -- speedo, tachometer, oil pressure, temperature. A helicopter joystick for a shifter knob. A drilled GT steering wheel. Aviation goggles on the passenger seat. A 4-speed manual gearbox. It is exactly what a hot rod cockpit should feel like -- purposeful, characterful, and unlike anything else you will sit in.

Availability
This is the part worth paying attention to. A T-Bucket hot rod with valid Belgian registration and full road-legal status in Europe is virtually impossible to find. These cars are built in the United States and they stay there. This one is here, registered, and ready to drive. That is genuinely rare.

The car has been recently serviced and needs nothing. It is a finished machine, not a project.
