The car began life as a factory special order Ford Shelby GT500 (VIN 1FA6P8SJ9N5501642), built at the Flat Rock assembly plant and specified in Shadow Black with Ebony leather Recaro interior, before being routed through Gaudin Ford in Las Vegas for its Shelby executive purchase program conversion. The original window sticker survives with the car, confirming both its factory specification and its documented path into the Hertz Shelby program.
Under the carbon fiber hood sits the 5.2 liter supercharged Predator V8, fitted with a gold Whipple 3.8 liter supercharger and producing over 900 horsepower, sent through a Tremec seven speed dual clutch transmission.
