Up for sale is a genuine Chevrolet Performance 502 big-block V8, built around the desirable Gen VI 502 block and equipped with GM Performance aluminum cylinder heads and intake. Rated at 508 horsepower and 580 lb-ft of torque, the ZZ502 is one of Chevrolet’s most recognizable high-performance crate engines.

The 502 combines huge displacement with a strong Gen VI big-block foundation, forged internal components and a hydraulic roller camshaft. Designed by Chevrolet Performance as a serious high-performance street and muscle-car engine, it delivers substantial torque while retaining excellent high-RPM capability.

This engine features the GM 502 block casting 10237300, GM Performance aluminum cylinder heads and a GM Performance/Bowtie high-rise dual-plane intake manifold. The engine is finished in a clean Chevrolet-style presentation and is ready to install in a suitable project.
